2015年交易於周五開始，歐元下跌至2010年以來低點。歐洲央行總裁德拉吉暗示，歐洲央行已更接近推出全面性量化寬鬆計劃(QE)，為歐元利空。

最近交易中 ，歐元下跌至1.2042美元，周三尾盤為1.2099。今日稍早，歐元下跌至1.2035美元低點，創2010年6月以來低點。

歐元周五疲弱係持續2014年的趨勢。因預期歐洲央行將於2015年初，推出全面性QE，避免歐元區出現通貨緊縮，2014年歐元兌美元大跌了12.2%。

希臘政情動盪重現，將於1月重新進行大選，亦對歐元構成壓力。

在德國一份報紙於周五刊出的訪問中，德拉吉說，歐元區仍有可能落入消費者物價盤旋而下的危險。

他說：「我們無法達成物價穩定任務的風險，已高過六個月前，」

「為消除通貨緊縮風險，央行準備於2015年初，調整寬鬆措施的範圍，速度與內容，」德拉吉說。
