台鐵台北站啟用LCD顯示事故系統

台鐵局表示，過去發生列車誤點時，各車站均以播音及於車站重要地點置放公告，加強列車資訊傳達。為提供旅客即時完整正確列車訊息，去年12月起，台鐵局已在台北站啟用事故訊息播放系統，發生重大事故時，即以大型LCD顯示方式將列車訊息提供給搭車民眾。

台鐵局指出，未來將視辦理成效，陸續推廣到其他重要車站。
