《Bloomberg》報導，美國最大銀行之一摩根大通 (J.P. Morgan Chase)(JPM-US) 今日提供的資料顯示，先前披露的客戶資料外洩事件，恐怕將影響高達 7600 萬戶家庭與 700 萬家中小企業。

客戶的姓名、地址、電子郵件信箱等資訊全部都外流，銀行內部用內來分類客戶的資訊也遭駭客取得。

不願具名的人士指出，只要是摩根大通網站 Chase.com 或行動 app 用戶資料可能均已經外洩。

摩根大通表示，儘管客戶資料大量外洩，但目前沒有跡象顯示客戶的帳戶號碼、密碼、使用者名稱、生日、社會安全碼等關鍵資訊有外流。該公司亦表示，客戶無須為未經授權的交易負責。

熟悉內情的人士向彭博新聞表示，駭客攻擊摩根大通謝取客戶資料的行為可能持續進行了幾個月，直到八月間才被發現。目前調查人員將罪魁禍首指向俄國，指俄國一處資料中心接收了這些遭竊資料。
