44歲的陶喆在今年10月「小人物狂想曲世界巡迴演唱會」的廣州站發布現場，透露「結婚對象」已出現，只是他自己還在謹慎的交往和考慮當中。前晚就被拍到和一名長相清秀的長髮女約會，長相激似曾傳出與他秘婚又離婚的簡寶珊，陶喆透過經紀人表示，只是「去跟朋友say hello」。

根據《蘋果日報》報導，陶喆前晚趁彩排北市府跨年演出的空檔，抽出30分鐘與長髮女吃涮涮鍋，足見該女子的重要性。兩人不避諱的坐在窗戶旁，從餐廳外就可清楚看到互動，陶喆全程逗得長髮女呵呵笑，還點了清酒共飲，像是提前慶祝新年。

該女長相清秀，身材纖細有雙長腿，外貌跟陶喆舊愛簡寶珊相似，都是陶喆喜歡的類型，兩人發現跟拍後，原想從緊急出口離去，但走錯路，最後只好從餐廳大門口轉進電梯離開。
