底特律活塞中前鋒Greg Monroe合約問題才剛告一段落，10日就傳出他因場外違規駕駛問題觸法，新球季將先禁賽2場。

Monroe日前在視力尚未恢復的情況駕車，違反密西根州法，他本人也親自認罪，雖然不必罰款，但聯盟宣布處以禁賽2場處分。

「我為我的行為負起全責，我很遺憾做了錯事。」Monroe在聲明稿中表示：「我向家人、球團、隊友、球迷道歉，我會從中學習，為這個地區帶來正面影響。」

Monroe上季82場全勤先發，繳出平均15.2分、9.3籃板，季後差點掀起「搶人大戰」，不過最後與活塞續約1年，年薪547萬美元。
