美國加州洛杉磯市東方野火肆虐，雖有千名消防人員力抗大火，但至今尚難控制火勢，消防當局今天表示，大火已造成五人受傷，並迫使1800居民撤離家園。

加州森林及消防處（California Department ofForestry and Fire Protection）發言人史培爾曼（Lucas Spelman）表示，聖牙辛托山脈（San JacintoMountains）這場野火已失控。

河邊郡（Riverside County）消防局表示，大火肆虐範圍估計達到4000公頃，傷者為四位消防人員和一位居民。

消防局長霍金斯（John Hawkins）告訴記者，這位居民是昨天受傷，已由直升機送往燒傷中心救治。

官員表示，洛杉磯東方約150公里的班寧鎮（Banning）有15棟房屋燒燬。當局還未判定大火起因。

目前已出動13架直升機和六架飛機滅火，但僅一成火勢獲控制，而班寧附近幾個城鎮已有1800居民撤離。
