一滴血嫌犯膚色身高年齡全現形

拜DNA突破之賜，警方現在只要透過犯罪現場一滴血，就能建立嫌犯的樣貌、身高和年齡等特徵。

英國「每日郵報」（Daily Mail）報導，即使沒有目擊證人，科技新進展代表警探將知道犯嫌是黑人或白人、他們的頭髮和眼睛的顏色，以及身高、年齡。

截至目前為止，調查人員只能將基因物質和存在資料庫內的罪犯紀錄做比對，但科技革新代表將能透過DNA讓罪犯現形。

英國倫敦國王學院（King's College London）基因鑑識專家寇特（Denise Syndercombe-Court）表示：「新科技提高不需目擊者就能找出嫌犯樣貌的可能性。」

她說：「調查人員將能透過DNA，描繪出嫌犯特徵、年齡和祖先。」

她表示，對警方來說，縮小嫌犯範圍及剔除無辜者將有很大價值，我們現在瞥見DNA分析的美好新未來。

每項檢測花費約700英鎊，完成分析約需10天。
