馬航墜毀／馬航空難賠償金至少每人15.4萬美元

馬航班機在烏克蘭領空遭擊落，造成近300人死亡。專家指出，儘管馬航本身可能並無過失，但依據1999年蒙特婁會議所訂國際條約，航空公司須對罹難者賠償，無論馬航本身是否有所過失，最高賠償總金額可達10萬「特別提款權（SDR）」。

依目前SDR價格換算，馬航須對每名罹難乘客至少賠償約15萬4,000美元，且可能還必須進一步做其他賠償；例如4月馬航班機墜毀，馬航對每位罹難者之賠償金約為17萬5,000美元。

至於機上運送的貨物，馬航無須負責損害賠償。
