台北商業技術學院八月升格大學　待政院核定

今有網友在台大PTT八卦板（telnet://ptt.cc）指出，台北商業技術學院日前已通過審核，將升格為台北商業大學，未來將成為台灣第一間商業大學，今年的科技大學排名，將直接變成台灣科技大學、台北科技大學、台北商業大學。
 
台北商業技術學院改制前為台北商業專科學校，未來改為北商大，網友對此看法不一。有些人讚許說：「台北商專很棒啊。我也想上北商。」但也有網友批評：「哪間？沒聽過。」甚至質疑爛校也能改名。
 
教育部指出，目前全台大專校院校數為161所（不含軍警學校及空大），今年僅有台北商業技術學院通過教育部審核，升格改名為大學，此案已送往行政院，若行政院核定，今年八月一日就可改為台北商業大學。（生活中心／台北報導）
