2013太魯閣峽谷馬拉松今早在雨中登場，雨勢雖隨賽程進行增強，不減選手興致，今年全程馬拉松馬賽程改為半程，多數民眾都順利完賽。雖然賽事全改為半馬，但選手爭取冠軍獎金機會不變，肯亞籍男女選手Emanuel Plilan Samal與Jane Jerono包辦原全程馬拉松冠軍，半馬男子組為何盡平摘冠、女子組是Mary Colbum稱后。
