暫拋陰霾巴西嘉年華會今熱鬧展開

法新社報導，暫時拋開經濟愁楚、貪腐醜聞和近期在足球場上的屈辱，巴西里約熱內盧今天正式展開5天不間斷的嘉年華會慶典。

嘉年華會象徵人物莫莫王（King Momo）搭乘豪華轎車抵達，由狂歡節女王和兩位公主伴隨並接下市鑰後，宣布慶典活動正式展開。

各擁數千名表演者的12所森巴舞學校將於15、16日在特殊遊行（Special Parade）中爭奇鬥艷，同時將吸引7萬名觀眾聚集森巴大道（Sambadrome）觀賞。

美聯社報導，將有超過450個街頭派對參與嘉年華會，吸引數百萬人士湧向街頭，包括約97萬觀光客在內，預計將為當地經濟挹注7.8億美元。
