香港上市的康師傅控股，在2014年最後一天，在港交所發布公告，頂新集團大董、康師傅主席魏應州，將辭去執行長CEO一職。不過，將留任董事長和執行董事，退居第二線。

現年61歲的魏應州雖早在2013年首度透露接棒計畫，但辭去CEO頗為突然，對此，康師傅表示，是為了遵守港交所企業管治守則中，主席和執行長應區分開來的要求，進一步鞏固集團的發展。
