2014年蘋果實施庫藏股金額達560億美元

如果蘋果有一個年度主題，今年的主題就是該公司終於開始釋出大筆的現金。

在積極投資人Carl Icahn的催促下，蘋果於4月將庫藏股計劃提升至900億美元，加速回饋現金行動。FactSet研究機構的最新數據顯示，2014年，蘋果是S&P 500成份公司中，實施庫藏股金額最高的公司，至第三季結束為止的一年裡，該計劃金額已逾560億美元。這幾乎是第二名IBM支出192億美元的三倍。

上季，蘋果買回自家股票170億美元，較去年同期大增240%，創2005年FactSet開始追蹤該數據以來，S& 500所有成份公司中的第二高金額，僅次於蘋果本身於第一季所創的186億美元記錄高點。
