副詞可用來修飾形容詞、副詞及動詞，而通常此一副詞的位置就在要修飾的形容詞、副詞及動詞的前面。

 

I still don't understand “我仍然不了解”

 

此句之understand是動詞，don’t 及still均是副詞，其中依據文意是在說”我不懂” I don’t understand, don’t “不”一字在修飾understand，故置於其前，而再依據文意，說話人不僅不懂，而且經他人或他物的補充說明”仍然不懂”，”仍然不” still don’t

,因此我們知道still是在修飾 don’t 這字，所以still放於don’t 的前面，still不是修飾understand，故不會是放在understand之前。

 

而如將still 放於understand前面，still understand “仍然了解”，意思也會有點怪異，了解就了解了，少有”仍然了解”這說法。

 

全句I don’t still understand “我不仍然 了解” 光由翻譯出的怪異意思，就知道 still的位置不對。

 

而您說副詞放於be動詞之後，基本上是正確，不過建議您改記憶為副詞應置於其要修飾的單字之前如 I am a very good person，而且一方面參考本文的文意及翻譯後的意思，來加以判斷其位置。
