2014年的柏林消費電子展(IFA)即將到來，Sony Corp.也計劃參與盛會、於9月4日召開產品發表大會，屆時有望推出搭載元太(8069)可撓式e-ink電子紙的穿戴智慧裝置。

9to5Google 8月30日引述未具名訊息人士指出，Sony打算在4日當天發表「SmartBand Talk」健身手環，這款裝置具有藍芽連線功能，還搭載了曲型的電子紙螢幕，與Sony今年稍早所推的「SmartBand SWR10 (見圖)」智慧手環是同一系列的產品。其他細節目前則還無法確知，但從產品名稱來看，該款產品應該會與特定手機連結、或是具有通知的功能。

另外，Sony據傳還會推出「SmartWatch 3」智慧手錶，預料會搭載谷歌(Google Inc.)的「Android Wear」穿戴裝置作業系統、1.68吋320 x 320螢幕，且通過IP58等級防水認證。訊息並顯示，SmartWatch 3的設計與三星電子(Samsung)「Gear 2 Neo」看來相當類似。

除了穿戴裝置之外，訊息顯示，Sony屆時還打算發表三款全新的智慧型手機，以及一款防水的平板電腦。
