大甲媽起駕後　街上掃出15頓垃圾

大甲媽祖起駕出巡陣頭鞭炮聲價天震響，台中市環保局統計，鎮瀾宮媽祖起駕周遭街道所清出的垃圾量共十五點七公噸，比去年多了四公噸，該局動員1205名志工及清潔人員，花了四小時才恢復市容。

昨天甲媽出巡前，各地陣頭前來參拜沿街放鞭炮、煙火、燃燒金紙，路面上迅速累積厚厚的炮屑，大甲媽祖起駕後下起大雨，整個大甲街頭髒亂不堪。

環保局今凌晨動員一百四十五名清潔隊員、一千位環保志工，又於大里、太平地區增派六十名清潔隊員支援，媽祖鑾轎起駕後，所有人員在鎮瀾宮廣場集合，分配區域道路後，在雨中開始沿街清掃，直到清晨三時許，才將大甲區主要道路掃乾淨。（孫義方／台中報導）
