【大紀元2015年02月19日訊】（紐約訊）紐約州最高道德監督機構——「紐約州公共道德委員會」（NYS Joint Commission on Public Ethics）認為紐約州前眾議長蕭華（Sheldon Silver)在2011至2013年期間偷稅漏稅。蕭華面臨12萬美元罰款。

周二（2月17日）下午，蕭華的違規行為以「犯罪通知」的形式被張貼在公共道德委員會的網站上。蕭華的發言人表示，蕭華如今四面楚歌，但他仍希望證明報稅無誤，沒有違規。
