索尼影業23日決定，25日耶誕節當天在部分戲院上映電影「名嘴出任務」。德州連鎖電影院Alamo Drafthouse Cinema創辦人李格（Tim League）在推特上透露，索尼影業已核准該戲院播映電影。不過索尼影業尚未公開回應此消息。
