請問颱風停飛之機票權益

我9/21日買了東方航空，桃園~上海~巴黎的機票。
9/21日無奈鳳凰颱風來攪局，在9/20日，大陸各航空均宣布取消9/21日之航班。

造成我無法到上海搭乘下一段往巴黎的飛機。
迫於無奈....前一晚當下訂國泰經香港轉上海單程機票，票價9040元。
所以我的行程是放棄第一段桃園上海。
那日心情真是七上八下...因為擔心聯程的機票，沒依據順序不給搭。
但如果沒搭上...後面訂的旅館車票等都泡湯了!
心一橫....想說先到上海再說吧!
我有保旅遊不便險....似乎無法申請理賠喔!
但請問航空公司部分可以有賠償或補償嗎?
