路上撿到走失的貓狗，下一步該怎麼做？

決定救援動物前，建議先評估自身能力，確認能夠解決醫療、安置等問題後再行動；若中途放棄，不僅無法幫助毛寶貝，更容易造成相關困擾。

◎ Step1 至醫院掃描晶片 ◎

若在路上看到疑似走失的貓狗，可先觀察一陣子，確認不是附近住家出來遛遛的寵物後，再帶至動物醫院掃描晶片。

如果發現小動物有受傷情形，建議立刻送到最近的醫院急救，以免錯過黃金救援時間。由於目前晶片廠商眾多，各家醫院的掃描器材也不盡相同，建議多試幾家，若有掃到聯絡資訊，即可通知主人前來帶回。

◎ Step2 進行健康檢查 ◎

如果是無主的貓狗，即使外觀看起來很健康，都應進行健康檢查，以免出現潛在疾病；若有經費考量，建議尋找對流浪動物友善的醫院，費用可能較為優惠。

基本檢查包括觸診、聽診、耳道、內外寄生蟲及抽血檢查等，若毛寶貝尚未結紮（http://www.businessweekly.com.tw/KBlogArticle.aspx?ID=8261&path=c），也可視情況請醫師一併處理，避免認養者將貓狗做為繁殖工具。
