美國務卿譴責泰政變「無正當理由」

美國國務卿柯瑞22日譴責泰國軍事政變「沒有正當理由」，呼籲恢復文人政府、尊重言論自由，並盡早選舉以反映民意。

柯瑞說：「我對於泰國軍方決定中止憲法、接管政府感到失望，這場軍事政變沒有正當理由。此舉將對美泰關係有負面影響，尤其是我們與泰國軍方的關係。」

美國國防部稍早表示將檢討美國對泰國的軍事援助，以及兩國的軍事交流。
