　　SCEJA 宣佈，PlayStation 4 次世代主機全球累計銷售量已達成 700 萬台目標，推估值計算時點分別為日本 2 月 22 日至 4 月 6 日，北美 2013 年 11 月 15 日至 2014 年 4 月 5 日，歐洲及拉丁美洲 2013 年 11 月 29 日至 2014 年 4 月 5 日，亞洲則為 2013 年 11 月 29 日至 2014 年 4 月 6 日。

　　而在遊戲軟體方面的銷售量也有顯著成長，實體通路及 PlayStation Store 的合計實銷量在 4 月 13 日時點已突破 2,050 萬套，預計 2014 年中將有超過 120 款新遊戲上市。

　　另外，DUALSHOCK 4 的分享按鍵使用次數也高達 1 億 3500 萬次以上，除了分享遊戲畫面及影片之外，透過 Ustream 及 Twitch 實況轉播遊戲實玩過程次數超過 490 萬次，全世界 PS4 玩家轉載次數更高達 9,000 萬次以上。
