臉書收購 論壇網站Branch

（法新社舊金山13日電） 臉書（Facebook）今天證實，收購社群網站Branch。Branch聚焦在對具洞察力的對話提供線上論壇。

兩家公司沒有公布交易條款，不過部分報導估計，合約金額為1500萬美元。

Branch共同創辦人和執行長米勒（Josh Miller）在部落格文章寫道：「我很興奮地宣布，我們將在臉書平台延續使命。」他也說，自己發布這篇文章時，正在日本的山區度假。

米勒寫道，總部設在紐約的兩家社群網站Branch和Potluck將繼續獨立運作，但9名成員將組1個臉書對話群組。

根據米勒，群組的目標將在協助臉書使用者與志趣相投的人搭上線，做有意義的意見交換。

Branch約兩年前在新創科技公司The ObviousCorp.支持下成立。The Obvious Corp.由推特共同創辦人史東（Biz Stone）和威廉斯（Evan Williams）成立。（譯者：中央社張詠晴）
